Dear GreenWay clients, please allow us to inform you about the upcoming change in the billing frequency for our services, which will take effect on May 13, 2024. We want to assure you that these changes will not affect the services you use from GreenWay, but will allow you to have a better overview of them.

Now, GreenWay customers will be able to use IONITY charging stations throughout Europe. Thanks to newly established roaming cooperation between the companies all drivers need is the GreenWay RFID card to be able to charge at IONITY stations. The partnership rules also enable GreenWay drivers with a Plus or Max subscription charge at IONITY stations at the same rates as in their home network.

In addition, we also work to ensure that our services are reliable, to provide you 24/7 customer service and for our prices to be fair and transparent.

Recently, I made the 2200 km round trip drive from Bratislava, Slovakia, to Bucharest, Romania, in an all-electric VW id3. While long, the trip was smooth and the recharging infrastructure reliable and high quality.

Company celebrates 10 years being an independent leader in e-mobility with campaign thanking customers, partners, and employees Bratislava, September 23rd, 2021, GreenWay is launching a campaign to celebrate its 10th anniversary as an independent, e-mobility leader. Set to launch at the end of EU Mobility Week, the campaign recognizes and thanks the customers and employees who made this anniversary possible.

GreenWay evaluated data for the first seven months of 2021, compared to the same period in 2020. We doubled the number of drivers registered in our charging network and three times more “refuelled” energy. Just in July this year, EV drivers charged a total of 320 MWh of energy- more than in the entire first half of 2020.

Over 240 devices of charging infrastructure for electric cars, pilot market research, reduction of CO2 emissions and promotion of ecological transport are the key effects of two projects implemented in 2016-2020 by GreenWay with the use of EU funds. The “NCE-FastEvNet” and “NCE-AdvancedEvNet” actions carried out in Poland and Slovakia, financed under the “Connecting Europe Facility” program, meant that these countries are no longer an electromobility desert on the map of the Old Continent.

We were supposed to meet at a coffee house in the city center, but shortly before the meeting Aaron changed the location to his house instead. Plans changed. Most parents know this kind of situation too well. With kids you just can’t plan anything for sure. The meeting behind their kitchen table went surprisingly well in the end, since Aarons younger son Theo slept through it all and we were able to talk about everything from him being the only American in a Slovak team, to a life circling around kids and house work, that he is living now.

When I was looking for a new job, I found an offer from GWI. The company was close to energetics, in which I had more than 10 years of experience. I sent my CV and already the interview process was held in a very positive and expert manner.

The number of electric vehicles on our roads is continuously growing and is expected to grow even more in the near future. It is only a matter of time, when electric vehicles will represent a significant part of our fleets. With the widespread of electric cars will the need for both public and private charging points grow as well. We in GreenWay Infrastructure are working hard to ensure that when that happens, the lack of charging infrastructure will not be an obstacle in their massive deployment.

I am here from the beginning, I joined the GreenWay project in 2012. Back then we worked with electric vehicles up to 3.5 tons, battery changing stations, batteries and IT systems. Electric mobility in Slovakia almost didn’t exist and we wanted to fill this gap and become the Slovak pioneers in this area. Somewhere on the way we came up with the idea of charging infrastructure and we achieved a big milestone – we built 15 charging stations from the east to the west of Slovakia in just one year.

I found GWI when I started to look for a full-time job after a longer break. Before I have worked in a customer service department for one of the biggest websites in Slovakia. I found the advertisement from GreenWay and I liked it immediately. It sounded very challenging and the company vision was a definite yes for me – I found it very interesting, important, needed, something with an impact on each of us. I liked it so much, that I created a special GWI application, I went to a GreenWay charger, took a picture and used it for my CV.

At GreenWay we have a vision of Slovakia full of electric vehicles. Because we are a team of enthusiasts, we catch every opportunity to make our services better. Like last week…
