About the FastEvNet Project
The NCE-FastEvNet project is an action of the Connecting Europe Facility of the European Commission. It is a part of the broader goal of deploying alternative fuel infrastructure and services across the entire EU in order to facilitate the mass deployment of non-fossil fuel vehicles. The NCE-FastEvNet project was the first and essential step towards the massive rollout of the network of fast charging points enabling long distance driving along the TEN-T roads in Poland and Slovakia. By interconnecting Poland with the already existing network in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany and even further in Austria and Slovenia, it established comfortable cross border use of electric vehicles between all of the countries in Central Europe. These new electrified corridors enable long distance driving for vehicles with electric propulsion, assist consumers to overcome range anxiety, and foster innovative recharging and energy storage solutions.
